Agreed. Very interesting thoughts on both the characters who are mourning their friend and the character that friend became.

The one thing that didn't really work for me was making the "Wrongslide" stuff canon. It's cute as a fannish nickname, but seemed out of place as something the AX crew would actually say.

He also had a line in New Mutants, where he treated Anole like a kid instead of a peer. But I don't know if this was before or after X-Factor, since the constant delays on New Mutants disorients me.

I dont think his immediate friends called him "Wrongslide" IMO it was just the Krakoa youth and the one that painted on him.

Josh called him Santo. And I'm sure the Academy kids wouldnt call him Wrongslide.

I just wish his face didn't look so much like Groot.
