    Opposed to what the lack of use or consistency in the 15 years prior or the tokenism which they've used for decades? Magik is on a push because writers like her I agree. However, many writers until very recently were male and white and more often than not they pushed young white girls, or guys. POC or characters are rarely given as much visbility and anytime they are there's a vocal minority that that calls it "forced PC".

    Oddly enough those same fans rarely have an issue with the dozens of white characters created, pushed, and used across multiple forms of media. Heck even sticking to the X-men in the last 20 years there are probably close to a dozen white, young girls with superpowers who received massive pushes Pixie, Hope, Jeen, Kitty, are just the ones off the top of my head.

    Right? I love their designs...Just wished that Death and Famine would have more different elements to their costumes and maybe different body types. I feel they gave the ladies more originality.

    The bottom center character is from a cover for Hellions #6 which the solicit mentions a return (edit: I just realized this tweet was promoting issue #6, lol). Locus vile could refer to a corrupt x-gene. But they do look more new than refurbished.
