Not me! Thanks for mentioning them though, I just followed them myself. I started following peppermonster, the Wanda cosplayer. She mostly posts just Wanda and DBZ stuff (the DBZ one a little surprising for me since I only ever knew guys that liked that show), but she's a good person to follow.

This is yet another of the reasons why I often say that CBR is a terrible metric for figuring out fan interest. There are a lot of fans of Lorna that don't post here. Some, like sassimoff, have posted once or twice but mostly just lurk.

I keep putting off posting cosplays and fanart. I may do that tonight.

Go right ahead and post them, we haven't had enough pictures and cosplays of late. There were alot from NYCC.

I really do hope writers give Lorna her rightful attention sometime soon. After Axis may be perfect, especially if it leaves him on the outs with Wanda and Pietro again, and if his powers are still wonky. Dang... if there has ever been a better time for her to whomp on him for all the crap he's put her through, then when he's boosting his powers hypocritically with MGH, I don't know when. I really do think, more then his other kids, Lorna is the one most fitting to put him in his place, just because she is so much like him. Except she can still turn back from her rage, and be a better person. Writers just let her slip through their fingers though, to focus on the over exposed older siblings.

Magneto came of age in an era when the good guys fire bombed whole cities to the ground for vengeance. Where his people had him help in the genocide of his own race. Both Lorna and Magneto are jaded about mankind and have both seen the very worst that people can do to one another, but Magneto is shall we say stuck in another era of thinking. By the time you hit 80 its hard to change your ways, but Magneto has tried alot of different philosophies from taking over the world, to a separate mutant homeland to Xavierism to alot of views in between.

Lorna has also tried quite a few different philosophies on how to protect the mutant race. Its a question of how to find the right means to protect mutants when you have the power to kill with a thought or toss whole cities in the air with your mind.

I think there could also be a bit of sexism impacting Lorna at Marvel. Not deliberate, cruel sexism, but something unintentional yet ingrained. Lorna was around at a time when women were seen as lesser to men, and though she initially got introduced as a progressive depiction compared to the rest of her time, she was eventually reduced to the lesser woman she distinctly was not meant to be. I only just found out today, thanks to Cracked, that Venom was originally intended to have a formerly pregnant woman as its host but editor Jim Salicrup rejected that awesome idea because he, personally, couldn't imagine a woman being a believable threat for Spider-Man. That was as recently as 1986, which isn't really all that long ago. If that Venom had gone through instead of the Eddie Brock one, I'm pretty sure I'd have cared a little more about Spider-Man.

Me meeting Peter David at #NYCC where I talked at length with him about Quicksilver and the fact that All New X-Factor was cancelled. He assured me we would get answers as to who Snow is, what’s up with Lorna, and all will be tied off or moved over to other titles….but even with this amazing man’s reassurance, I’m still upset and uncertain. I care too much about #quicksilver to just trust all these people who are fucking with his character. #pietromaximoff #uncannyavengers #anxf #allnewxfactor #peterdavid I have probably cried over all new x-factor and quicksilver’s new costume more than anything in recent comic book history…aside from maybe the announcement of NewThor, but that was happy crying. As much as I'd like to immediately celebrate, I can't trust Marvel until we get concrete evidence Lorna will be included. By that, I mean we have to actually see at least one panel or promotional art with her in it, because including her name on an announcement is nice, but very easy for Marvel to backtrack on.

And this isn't a complaint about Lorna not getting mentioned in the announcement. Pietro isn't named either, and Wanda's only mentioned by necessity to the story synopsis. I'm just stating my stance on the issue, which is built on the foundation of Marvel's collective behavior over the past 5 years.

That said, I'm glad they're starting to see at least some of the potential and interest in House of M.

It remains to be seen. Personally, I'm thinking she'll show up for an arc in Magneto until one of the other X-Writers picks her up. I don't actually want her on the XX-Men title since she never fairs well when tagged up with the other X-Women. I'd rather see her join the revolution.

Also, Polaris is in that popularity tournament again, but she paired up against Brand. Normally I wouldn't bother ya'll more than once about this, but she can't lose that one.

We've seen and shared that cover before, it's still great to see. As for the second picture, I'm okay with it but when it comes to posting on CBR in general, you might wanna be wary of things that some might consider too suggestive. When I posted on a different thread elsewhere on CBR, people were accusing me of posting near-pornography over a picture of Lorna and Wolfsbane sharing a bath together. However, it's important for me to mention that those people had it out for me a little at the time, so those complaints might've been only to try to make me look bad. I haven't seen much of that kind of behavior in the past year.
