Someone reminded me of some of his work. I've read some of his Detective Comics and Killmonger. He also did Batman and the Outsiders but I haven't opened it yet. He'll do fine.

I think it's a pretty meh "twist" or whatever, but i guess its a play on the meme of spoilers:

comic deaths, esp X-Men never lasting

I'm not really bothered either way, as when it comes to Hickman I'm more excited in his written character interactions versus whatever his overly complicated overarching plot will be.

The big name X-Men were already immortals, anyway. What pissed me off was that Nightcrawler or Cyclops could die and come back while the New X-Men were staying dead. Now everybody is equal before death? Good!

I think he stands a better chance of making these derivative characters, especially WiFi and Kwannon-locke, more interesting with a smaller cast.

Also, considering what we know / have seen so far, it seems that they won't be immortal per-se but because of external aid (ex: Krakoa's seeds) which by the looks of some future cover, maybe Sinister will tinker with it and it will be lost forever or something. Maybe it's just a way for Hickman to bring back some Mutants that were killed off before and actually explaining it, instead of just making them appear out of nowhere like Rosenberg did.

I think there's a good chance that he's going to go there with Scott/Jean/Logan and have a scene with the three of them sleeping together.

Hes good with geting in to characters minds kwannon and Laura should be written very well, and hes the best chance of dialup modem being decent

Hopefully he dies in HOX / POX since he's not in Wave 1 or X-Men. Lol

But I just have suffer through him in HOX / POX and I'll be home free.

Same here, I'm fine with it. I like your theory too.
