Ok, so what's with the different colored suits ?
It's clearly not an Age or Gender thing, and if its a Squad thing like the old student teams, then the main 6 are from at least 4 different squads (With the two children being part of Armor and Pixie's squad).

Also, I'm vaguely annoyed that Armor went from being a Deadpen Snarker to a "No fun allowed" type, but I'll wait and see how it goes.

I believe that Thompson and Nadler said something about how students need to pick a major while they're at the school so that they can become productive mutant members of society. I assume the color coding says what their discipline is
