That would be the sensible thing, yes. But, given the "one hand doesn't acknowledge what the other hand is doing" nature of DC right now, I'd say that there's about a 40-50% chance that these two books will not line up. Not bad enough odds for me to risk money on a wager, but enough for me not to be surprised if it turns out that way.

In related news, I may currently be in an "old and bitter" phase in my manic fanboy cycle.

My understanding is that we would have gotten OGs as well, its just that their "new" adventures would be happening in the past.

Yeah, the trade dress would've had a different design for each of the five generations.

Pretty cool to celebrate the event that pretty much ruined DC for a good portion of its readers. What's next, Identity Crisis II with Crazy Quilt as a sex trafficker who slaps around Iris Allen?

I feel like I should've seen this coming with the Flash movie coming out.

Hopefully this doesn't go the way of Civil War II as far as unnecessary drudging up and giving a sequel to a story that didn't need it, unless people really want to read another dystopian DCU.

Jeremy Adams writing is cool though, especially since it'll mean it won't get delayed like Johns' other books .

So the sequel to one of the biggest Flash stories of all time, with "Flash" in the name of the book......isn't a Flash comic because "Batman."

Well, Thomas Wayne's Batman was pretty much the co-lead of the story, and it's most marketable figure, and makes more sense to explore the Flashpoint universe through.

At the same time I wonder how many people really want to read about Thomas Wayne again after what King did to him. I know Williamson's tried to redeem him a little, but still.
