Pretty much. There is a bunch of less terrible runs out there for you to research.

If you don't know the Titans then you shouldn't start by reading Dan Abnett's run. Unless you want to know how not to write them.

The fact that he is researching Abnett's Titans give me bad vibes, that was a horrible Titans run and Abnett didn't understand this characters. Dude made Batman say "go to you room" to Donna Troy and had a arc were the Justice League literally grounded the Titans.

Hopefully he choose to show that for the pretty art by Redondo and Moore.

Regarding the Titans, I love NTT but every series with that team starting with the 1999 series just hasn’t been good IMO. The magic of the Wolfman and Perez run just can’t be recaptured. So, I’d rather read about new Titans like Roundhouse and Djinn.
