True but then it will focus on Storm and Wolverine, who I really don't care about it.

How often have people with practically zero film-making experience ever produced/directed anything that was even remotely Oscar-worthy?

like the x-books aren't rampant with blatant creator favoritism anyway?

The Cyclops fanwanking is insane, but Claremont isn't actually a solution to that problem in most cases.

Claremont referring to Bendis as "another writer in the way" made my week.

I admit that I may have let out a loud "SQUEE!" In my head when I read that.

    Better for who?

If Claremont was in charge of the movies they wouldn't be releasing a 5th one and preparing for a 6th. But the few people left who read comics would have been thrilled with the first one.

The fans? Wasn't he responsible for the success of the franchise in the first place? He's definitely takes partial credit for DPS and DOFP.

If your point is that Claremont needs someone to reigned him in from going too crazy and have someone else do the technical and marketing aspects of the movies, sure.

My point is that the audience for movies and the audience for comic books are completely different.
