The dishing gloves are one of things I dislike about the Marvel Girl costume. They look silly.

But yeah considering the feats Xavier is able to pull off he's very clearly the strongest TP who's not an Omega.

Unfortunately it really depends in the writers whims more often then not. Xavier, Jean, and Emma tend to be classified as the most powerful/skillfull TP's

Jean has always bordered on WMD when events get her amped up. With or without the Phoenix, but I frankly think she's never been fully unbonded from the Phoenix.

Emma is referencing her initial fight with Jean during the original Phoenix era. At first it seemed like Jean killed her but later it was revealed Emma survived.
