Looks, unfortunately, lame and unnecessary . . . from the same two yahoos who gave us the last few issues that basically blew chunks?

Dang, this was a very good issue and definitely a worthy addition to Dick's tenure as a super spy. I wouldn't mind these guys getting a shot at Dick again when Seeley is finished. In the meantime DC should give them a book of their own, I'm still baffled they didn't give them and Valentine anything for Rebirth, Batman Beyond should be right up their alley or even a Red Hood book. But for some reason they went with Jurgens and Lobdell again.

Since they were the guy how wrote most of the issues with the Jasons and Tims subplot in B&RE I really want to see them anywhere close to Red Hood.

Did a pretty good job with him and Tim as I recall.

This wasn't terrible. Wasn't a big fan of the Constantine story, it got a little carried away about showing off Dick, and overall they got a little carried away with trying to show off how awesome Dick is, but i quite enjoyed the Harley story and the Green Lantern story gave us a peak at what Nightwing is gonna look like. Which the heads are kind of weird, but the action stuff is solid and dynamic. So, ya. All in all not bad. Left me wanting to see Dick team up with Harley more.

Maybe with Tim but imo not with Jason. They basically reduced him to Tims sidekick and wrote him way to goofy and incompetent.

Could be a lot of reasons. Could be a question of would they be able to turn in complete stories on time for books that are published twice-a-month, or a question of did they pitch a series idea that really intrigued DC enough to go with it, or are they working on something that may be in a later wave, or do they really want to work with DC (or DC with them) on a regular basis?
It's not like the old days where there are a bunch of peoples who work exclusively at one company and the company has to find things for them to work on. Yes, some people have exclusivity agreements with one company or another, but how many writers and artists are basically free lancers these days?
As for Valentine, she's doing Xena at Dynamite, so I'm not sure what her time is like these days. (I also don't know how convincing the numbers for her Catwoman run would have been for DC to want to automatically give her more work, as much as I did truly enjoy her take on Selina.)

More like they put both of them in a situation only Tim could shine (diplomacy with Bane, planing and execution of tricking a super tech knowledge order to infiltrate it, then destroying it from the inside, talking some sense into Jean Paul. All things that i dont see Jason doing. Could be wrong tho). My problem with Jason was that he was too tame, and that they had too much of a good relationship. Always liked how Jason and Tim never saw eye to eye on how things had to be done and it led to a distant relationship. Tim respecting who Jason was, hating who he became. Jason resenting him for seeing him as his replacement.

Liked the stories, all showing another aspect of his personality. They did go overboard with Constantine but I still laughed the whole time. The scene with Helena was a better goodbye than the one in #20.

Im curious, what would peoples opinion be if Dick had a fling with Harley? It would be bold and controversial, and i could see Dick buy into her trying to be "good". Of course it would end in flames but i think it could make for something interesting.

And put in some situations where Jason looked like an idiot. And basically implied that he regularly screwed up when he was Robin.

How he acted in the fight against Bane was also out of character.

Jason is more skilled then they gave him credit for, he may not have Tims talent for the computer and tech stuff, but as someone who was trained by Batman he should be still quite capable in that area, it is not like he doesn't know how a computer works. Talking sense into other people is also something that he has already done at a few occasions. And he is a trained assassin, he is quite able to be stealthy and to fight without his guns (probably more than Tim and probably even Dick).

It would have been totally ok if they wrote Tim as the smater one, but then they should have let Jason shine in the physical part of the job. But Tim was the one who got the fight scenes.
