Had to Google Briahna Joy, turns out she was Bernie Sanders' press secretary, so I'm guessing there was some sort of ulterior motive behind her attack on RBG.

Ultimately, she and those like her want to convince gullible voters that the SCOTUS doesn't matter. That judges nominated by Democrats are just as bad as those nominated by Trump. So that Trump can get a second term, blow up the country and a beautiful socialist utopia can be built on the rubble.

The problem with the convictions for the ex-Christie aides, the court pointed out, is that the goal of the scheme was not to obtain money or property, which is a necessary element of the federal fraud statutes involved.

I mean, if that's how the statutes are written, the problem is the law, not SCOTUS. (Or possibly prosecutors prosecuting under the wrong statutes.)

How does it feel when you look in the rearview mirror these days? Honest question.

Trump actually hasn't been nearly as bad as I expected. Thats not saying he is good but if you separate what he says from what actual actions are taken he's pretty much what you would expect from any republican president. And congress has largely neutered many of his more extreme actions. He is still a raging asshat and an embarrassment but Hilary Clinton is still Hilary Clinton and as I said there is nothing that could make me vote for her short of unrealistic scenarios like "vote for Hilary or I'll kill your child."

No regrets and I still wouldn't vote for her.

BTW, my vote didn't matter anyway as I'm not in a swing state. Trump got 60% of the vote while Clinton got a measly 27%. So even if you give every third party vote to her she still loses by a huge margin.

Coronavirus is inching ever closer to Trump, and there's nothing he can do to stop it. Sooner or later, a member of his family will contract the virus, what with one of Drano Don's valets having tested positive. While I doubt that'll put the fear of god in Trump, at least he'll know that being President of the United States doesn't protect him from COVID-19.

Considering he apparently didn't want to use a mask because he thought it made him look ridiculous, a karmic amputation would teach him ridiculous.

It's not like getting an eyepatch and a hook hand would probably change his upcoming Death Star campaign that much.
