It’s crazy they didn’t capitalize on Spider-Carnage for the ‘Absolute Carnage’ event. Maybe Marvel editorial wants Ben and Kaine put on ice again. Every few years... clones are in, clones are out, clones are in, clones are out... like it’s some chic fashion.

He actually did go after Scorpion in Absolute Carnage, but other than that, I agree with you. Then again, maybe it's for the best that Ben was a no-show. Could've easily been an excuse for Marvel to kill him off again. Originally Posted by classicgmer

Nobody made the Scarlet Spider costume look as cool as Tom Lyle's original illustrations -- not even JRJr.

Now that I think about it, we are either approaching or have already passed the 25th anniversary of Ben Reilly's debut as the Scarlet Spider. Given how Ben has been treated recently and Tom Lyle's sad passing today, does anyone think there might be some way to honor them both?The spider is always on the hunt.
