Maybe Shiar sun is stronger then our sun and that is why Sunspot is stronger then Gladiator.

Bobby was probably just trying to impress Deathbird and his stupid bravado really affected Gladiator's self-confidence.

If something can affect Gladiator's powers is Sunspot's ego.

Nice recap and review Triniking1234! It was a fun issue, Roberto and Sam are still amazing together to the point I'm wondering why Hickman isn't writing another series about those two going on space adventures together! I also love the recap page (reminds me of the recap pages from Cable & Deadpool) and that data page is amazing!

But yeah what's going on with Rahne? She seems really "unstable".

The art is amazing too and some panels really reminds me of Bill Sienkiewicz's art. I can't wait to see what Hickman is going to do with this space storyline and some of those characters in X-Men #8 and #9.

Fucking garbage. Nothing against Brisson, but for me, this book was a day one blind purchase from the start because of Hickman, and now instead of only occasionally not getting Hickman, I'm getting no Hickman at all. Brisson had his shot, his stuff was boring. Daddy drama and scary Latinos who want druuuuugs?? Madre es dios! Aye yee yee!

    Bitter now.

The M-Pox didn't really make him stronger, it just took away his ability to regulate the solar energy he'd absorbed

Basically they were self imposed mental blocks to stop him from hurting himself

But that's like the controls that any body has on muscle strength so as not to tear you apart. They are here for something.

You know, in wartime, having Sinister remove all the blockages that mutants have to make them overpowerful seems like something that could happen.

This was terrible. Bobby is so ooc. How does he go from loving Magma... to Deathbird? Just ugh.

That’s what happens when you ship a man who gets around with someone. My bad.

They weren't, but Bobby definitely made coo-coo eyes at her on more than one occasion.

The most in-character thing Chamber has done in Hickman’s small run, was asking if they could go home already.

Overall, I enjoyed it. But I am glad it is over. I’ll give Brisson a chance to see if I continue with this series.

Hickman's New Mutants was such a gem. Really took me by surprise.

Rahne licking things was a little much, but that's just a small gripe. Karma and Cypher interrogating that sphere of gas was great. Would love to see Hickman continue writing a Sunspot and Cannonball adventure's in space book.
