Yeah. Same as the anti new 52 folk refused to support books, then 52 fans can vote with their wallet too. I was buying nu 52 from the start. Had no idea they would make Kal/Diana canon but it happened and I was more invested. It's not like they doing organic story in Rebirth. They hand waving just to accommodate what they want. It's bad writing imo.I don't have to pay for that. The version of Superman I grew to care for is prob going to be gone. A merger is a crappy thing to do. No one can fool me and say oh it's the same guy. And Rucka's Diana is so dull I just can't be bothered.

The merch and bks with them I expect ppl can buy or not. Really depends on people's pockets. I mean I am/was torn with even giving a cent to the last 2 vols by Tomasi. For one it prob a mess to follow as all the chaps don't line up since was caught up in a crossover and then Tomasi was there to dump on the relationship. Superman Savage Dawn for example is a better read than superman/wonder woman Savage End because it is chronological. DC did mess up the smww series with these crossovers. People trade waiting are short changed. It's like they wanted it to fail. Do you buy to support or you waste your $$ on a GN that is a mess because the chaps are all over the place? It's crap all around because the SM trade is the better buy simply because it collected everything. I don't blame Azzarello for being firm with not involving any other bks. It definitely messes up a series momentum unless it is coordinated properly and when collected, collected to make sense.

I think buying the bks with them and recommending them to others is a great thing. Many people have kept asking us on tumblr and IG and Facebook about reading lists. There are people on this forum who ridicule our fandom and posters and say we don't count. They use to do it before DC made them canon. Now they do it because they feel the current situation is never going to change and they will have what they want in canon indefinitely. Maybe. So let them support their books. If DC gives us a reason to buy something, we will. Maybe there might be a good mini or gn ala KC or Red Son etc one day by someone not confined to canon. After all some of the best stories are outside canon.

A couple of people have asked me times ago to redo the 'Shelter from the Storm' picture set to publish it on Tumblr. I had started doing it, but then the whole 'Idontloveyouanymore'+BvS+Rebirth nightmare started and I lost motivation to do it. When Dylan won the Nobel last year I didn't even consider doing it because I was really trying to divorce myself from everything DC/Warner. Well, here I'm, back again. Sucker.

If anyone can help me, I'll be thankfull. I have no idea what font to use, I'm pretty sure I'll choose a font that will offend fontophyles. I've tried search for the fonts used in the SMWW book, but no look.

Does anyone know if they exist? So, I'd use the Supes font for the verses and the Wondy font for 'Come in, she said'.

I've been learning to do videos as well, unfortunately youtube deleted the one with Dylan's original recording, so it means I won't be able to use it. It was the best, his live arrangements aren't as good, IMO. There's this cover here:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAXAveJUUjE

but it doesn't have the rawness of the original.

If anyone can help me with the fonts and suggestions, PM me.

Yes, the books send a message. The reason why they reprint has to do with them wanting to sell something, Riddle of the Beast is a hardcover 15th anniversary reprint. Only the best AUs, or those related to current publications, make it to digital, generally speaking.

AUS are better because they are a pitched idea from someone who likes the concept, and hasome creative freedom.

I agree with him/her. I don't mind the merch. Yeah, DC/Warner destroyed Clark and Diana but they still do merch. But at least it shows they know the pairings potential.

Now, if only they'd understand that the pairing isn't only together 'because they are strong', that they have a much richer story in the comics than only that...

This goes back to Wonder Woman's freaking creator himself. He had her dance with 'him' even thought they were not part of the same publishing universes.

But yeah. Not against the official merch at all.
I agree there. Don't buy or support anything official means no message is delivered. I took it as they got together because they were close friends for a time first.
