Marvel's doing phone call message for the candidates. Firestar's message makes a joke about her burning horse. Siryn's call is mostly just a woman screaming.

My hope for this is that the Academy X characters do well enough to show there's still a sizeable fanbase who'd like to see more of that generation.

I voted for Firestar! I think she always deserved to be an X-men!
She has vast experience as an Avenger and has her origins in the mutant universe! and now she deserves her rightful place among Kakoa's great heroes! I vote Firestar!

If it comes down to between Firestar and Armor I would personally lean towards Firestar.

I think the most likely winners are Siryn, Monet, and possibly Armor.

I apparently grossly overestimated how many people like Siryn and underestimated how many people remember Firestar from Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends. O_o

And while I fully expected Bling! to not win, I was expecting a better showing than a projected ninth.

Wow, was not expecting Monet in 3rd! I'm glad though, because I know she will find a home before long and I don't think some of these other characters would.

I feel like Armor & Surge are splitting votes though, being from the same generation. Hopefully editorial recognizes that people want to see a lot of the top characters in books.

Sad to see that Siryn is not highly-ranked.
