Plus it sucks what happened to Sam alexander at the end of that issue, but then again he hasn’t even the only casualty really. Galactus getting reverted and Loki poisoning the Gardener’s mind were both pretty big

I'll be tabling at some small anime/comic cons in a few days. Totally forgot I signed up for them on a lark months ago before they finally emailed me back the week before the event.

I have no time to make new merch or prints, so out of a need for new things to put on the table, I'll put my - perhaps misguided - faith in the character bust sketch.

My home crowd are mostly normies tending toward anime, and I haven't kept up with anything since Diamond is Unbreakable and Dragonball Super ended.I realize this is probably a reach, but hey, if you all can help me kick around some ideas, I'd appreciate it.

So what's being watched these days? Heroes? Waifus? ...Fujoshi trash?

I may post the shame here later, who knows?

According to the few anime people I follow on Twitter, a lot of people are watching and having opinions about Darling the FranXX.

Aggretsuko was pretty big but that might be more casual-centric. Megalobox has also been doing very well because cyborg boxing is the ****.

    Rather well-put. ^_^

I feel the story peaks in the middle and takes a dip in the final few episodes. It's by no means the greatest anime I ever watched, but it realized some of its ambition.

This is the most dumbfounding yet satisfying piece of anime news that I've heard all week. Of course, in future discussions about the character, we'll have to get used to differentiating this new canon Broly to the classic version.
    Ichigo: What even *are* you?!

Kenpachi: Some say my mother was a train. Some say that I'm a rejected Godzilla monster too strong for the series canon. But everyone says: I'M THE KEEEEENPACHIIIIII!!!!

Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Whoops. Darling in in the Franxx. It's pretty good at telling personal stories through its humanistic theme for the most part. But the series has a full episode of pure backstory exposition at some point, its action is a shaky crutch, and its villain just gets less and less interesting towards the end as it's forced into a straight up military conflict.

The system itself is a order of the most and is basically socialism to a extreme ( business exists for sake of income. But the government is still mostly in control of cash and such.) Then again Adolf, That Adolf Who was in charge of Socialist party of Fermany, lazily thought Germany would fix its own problems and did very little other than crush his chances of winning the war. ( Thank God for that, crazy freakken nutter.)

Yeah Fascism And Communism are Super left wing, but in wrong contexts.

    Chou, this is quite incorrect.

Fascism as an ideology has very little to do with socialism. Fascism is about politics of identity centred primarily on nationalism or racial purity and autocratic rule meted out from a singular dictator while socialism is an economic system wherein the means of production are in the hands of the workers themselves.

The Nazi Party called themselves the National Socialist Party to obfuscate the fact that they were fascists and because socialism was experiencing a popular boom in the economically decimated Germany post World War I. Hitler was not a socialist, no one with any power in his party was. The Nazi strategy with the economy was to essentially run a war economy, because nothing creates jobs like war, and see how far that got them. There was no socialism employed at any point.

Fascism is a super /right/ wing political ideology while socialism sits on the medium to far area of the left. They are opposing ideologies.
