i think he made a mistake, in any of the OFFICIAL solicitations says this:

I actually really like this allot, obvious nod to the winged messenger Hermes/Mercury who was in part the guide of souls from one plain to another, applied to how they are playing him, and as go between for the enigmatic Speedforce, this could become his role.

Why is everyone keen on giving Wally another name?
He's the Flash!
Just like Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, John Fox, Jace Allen etc.
It's a title that is passed on and continues to live on centuries later.
Changing Wally West's name to anything else is a disservice to the character.

That said, count me as another vote for DEADMAN!
