Is this a sign that this whole Magistrate/ Future State cr*p is gone for good?
(Not sure I've seen it confirmed anywhere).

Lmao my exact first thought! They finally got him He always drew a great Batman so I’m sure he’ll kill it here.

I'm probably trade wait this event (despite loving Ivan Reis being involved). But I will be curiously following it. I'm curious if it will kinda fit a bit with Fear State and Tynion's run. It will fit a bit of course superficially (Mayor Nakano, Arkham's destruction, etc), but just how much or how little interests me. If it's great, then how much it fits Tynion or not will matter less.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

Things are getting dark in Gotham City in the weekly “Shadows of the Bat” event taking place in Detective Comics. Lead by writer Mariko Tamaki, with back-up stories by Matthew Rosenberg, and art by Max Raynor, Irvin Rodriguez, and Fernando Blanco, Nightwing, Batwoman and the Huntress seek to solve the mystery at the heart of Arkham Tower, as Dr. Wear’s plans slowly come to light… and the inhabitants of the Tower revert to their former, murderous selves in Act Two of “Shadows of the Bat.”

[QUOTE=Hypo;5819674][CENTER]WHAT’S COMING FROM DC IN FEBRUARY

I always pick up Batman every month, or twice a month, it's been on my pull list for over 20 years. Also Detective off and on, but ...
I'm sure this " Event " will probably be good even without Bruce in it. But $4.99 a week for 12 weeks . I'm not so sure , maybe just wait for the Trade ? I hate to be cheap , but there's other comics every week too.
