Oh yeah, speaking of Anole's terrible terrible terrible decision.
Wasn't Beast tampering with that particular strain of the cure? Doesn't that mean Anole has just infected a bunch of people with who knows what else? Did I misremember that?

Le Suck it, Dolphin!
-God I am so tired.
SCOTT SUMMERS AND EMMA FROST DESERVED BETTER.
Well, things were bit chaotic, what with a giant battle royale taking place.
Given all that was going on, it was probably far more sensible to take Cannonball out of the action altogether.
Certainly there are very reasonable arguments to be made as to why they wouldn't want to patch Cannonball up on the battle field and send him immediately back into the fight.
And yes, they could have taken time out of the issue to explain those reasons but if writers devoted panel space to walking readers through every potential nitpicky detail in order to over-explain for the benefit of a minuscule segment of the readership who might care why such and such an action was taken or not taken in the heat of battle, there'd never be time to tell a story.
As for this finale, it was an exciting finish, leaving things open to some potentially cool stories both in the main MU and in the Age of X world.
I'm especially looking forward to seeing what Rosenberg has in store as the solo Uncanny writer.
It really says something about the current state of the X-books that the X-boards are saying nice things about the Avengers books.
It would’ve been SO easy to see Eye Boy or Beak in this role. Like, frustratingly easy. We already know Beak didn’t like turning back into a mutant so him stealing a vial would’ve not only kept up his same attitude but been a nice connection to the Mothervine event. And Eye Boy kind of goes without saying, almost ANYONE with that mutation would take that vaccine in a heartbeat.
Eye Boy actually seems pretty well adjusted, Glob would have made more sense, but he's Brisson's fave.
Anyway, cool cool cool that one of the very few X-Gays and one of the mutants with a physical mutation is responsible for eugenics laws.
This was a GREAT issue for Psylocke and the depths of her relationships with the other characters. Just read it. Overall a meh issue.
I'm glad there are strategies to take out Storm and X-Legion.
Storm: Angel, Betsy
X-Legion: Jean, Betsy, Cuckoo, Sage, No-girl
Taking out Blob and Omega-Red should be a piece of cake considering the overwhelming number of X-Men there. Yet, there were no strategies.
The only Horseman difficult to take down is Magneto but we didn't have any strategy or real battle at all. Polaris combined with some other X-Men could have taken down Magneto.
Kitty not leading any team to take down the four Horseman is pitiful since she's supposed to have high IQ. Instead, we have Betsy leading the charge which is illogical.
Jean leading all the telepaths to take down another telepath is the only logical sub-plot here.
If it was Chris Claremont writing this, the whole story would have been more logical.
