1970s
1980s
1990s
2000's
2010's
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Absolute Power, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Birds of Prey, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Justice Society of America, Shazam, Titans, & Wonder Woman.
For me, DC between the mid 80's to early 90's due to all the drastic changes and all the mediocre art and writing before Death Of Superman came into fruition. And of course, the late 2000's after Final Crisis which left a very bad taste in my mouth prior to the New 52.

In the beggining of my collector life i used to dislike the 1990s due to some cartoony drawings (legion of superheroes/legionaires) and poor quality on colors since it was the transition to digital coloring.
Storywise the 1990s were great! Amazing, exciting stories on :
-Superman
-Adventures of Superman
-Man of Steel
-Batman
-Detective Comics
-Legends of the Dark Kinght (!)
-Batman Chronicles
-Long Halloween
-Demon Etrigan 3rd series
-New Gods 3rd series
Jack kirbys Fourth World by John Byrne
-Genesis
-Atlantis Chronicles
-L.e.g.i.o.n.
-Kingdom Come
Probably more that i don't remember or never read
2010s had:
-Court of Owls
-Demon Knights
And the damage that The New 52 had done are felt even today, a decade to be forgotten..

I do think there are interviews where Wolfman said he regretted having to change Donna's origin. So he may have just had to change it from orders from the higher ups but also not really having any wiggle room to connect it to Diana.
I really don't get why they wouldn't just let Perez set it in the past. For the most part, it would read exactly the same. Did they think people wouldn't like it if it wasn't in "the now" despite being mostly good stories?
To be honest... 70s. Just a little too dated all around for my taste. Especially art wise. Hard for me to get into.
