Default Duke Thomas Height Weight ?

I recently bought the new "Batman Character Encyclopedia" that has short profiles and stats for the new Batman Characters.

What I found strange is that Duke was listed as 1.86m (~6'1'') and 58.5kg (~129 lbs) which doesn't really fit his appearance in the comics.

But my cops of the book seems to be a "translated" one which has all stats in metric units. There seems to be an other version of the book with imperial units. Does anybody own the "imperial" version of the book and can tell me if these stats are correct or if it the translator made a mistake?
my guess is that the numbers were switched and the correct would be 1.68m (~5'6'').

I think you're exactly right. I'm 5'5" and around 120 with a similar build, so Duke being 5'6" is very plausible.

The Character Encyclopedia has crazy stats for a lot of characters, even prior to translation. I love that sort of trivia, so I wish they put more effort into creating realistic heights and weights.

5`6 seems the most plausible. 6`1 is just too much, IMO.

Out of curiosity what are the the stats for Tim, Jay and Dick?

    Dick 1.78m 79 kg (= 5'10'' 175 lbs)
    Jason 1.83m 82 kg (= 6'0'' 180 lbs)
    Tim 1.68m 59kg (= 5'6'' 128 lbs)
    Damian 1.37m 38 kg (= 4'6'' 84 lbs)

I have actaully a list where i collect the stats from different publications for the Batfamily, that why I'm trying to reference Dukes hight.

Btw. the stats of Luke Fox seem also not really fitting, if any body owns the imperial version of the book it would be nice if he could check Luke as well.

Amazing comprehensive list Aahz, thank you!

Didn`t realize Arkham Tim or comic Talia were as tall. Barbara seems kinda tall too. Noice! I like tall women. Jason seems one of the most consistantly pegged in these kind of lists as an adult.

The 5’11” doesn't make much sense imo. That would make her taller than Dick and her Father (who is usually also drawn taller than 5'9'') which is definitely not the case. The 5’7” seems more fitting. The problem is just that some writers just reuse older stats without thinking about it.
One of the dumbest cases (which I forgott to list here) is that the Batman files where it is claimed that Jason was 4’6” 87 lbs at the age of 15.

Most consitent seem to be Bruce at 6’2”, 210 lbs and Dick at 5’10”, 175 lbs.

    Great list, Aahz, thank you!

Talia skews a bit shorter than I imagined, and Cass on the whole is several inches taller. And there was a version of Steph at 142 lbs and 5'5"? Damn, sounds like she must've been jacked. Was that as Batgirl?

he was 15/16 when we last saw him, its 2 years later he is due for another growth spurt soon, so 6'1 may not be too off

It was at Batgirl, the book was published in 2011 it is basically the status directly before flashpoint.

That's actually a fair representation of a somewhat muscular young woman. Of course, Damian threw some weight jokes at her at the time. :P

I think it's just cognitive dissonance with writers. They just take their own height/weight and extrapolate it.

I think they'd be best served going off of stats of martial artists/body builders.

In the real world, I'm 5'10" and shooting for 175 lbs. Dick will still be much more heavily muscled than I am, so he should weigh more. Batman at 6'1"/6'2" as he's drawn should be more in the 230-240lbs range.
