Until Dazzler gets some sort of actual revenge once again I remain skeptical. Good job on the artist making Dazzler look very angry. as she should be considering what was done to her.

Re-read Dazzler's first run in Uncanny, and got a bit confused on one of her power usages.
Is her strobe blast the eye beam? Every time she mentions using it, it comes from her eyes but its either in a laser (like against Juggernaut/the Brood) or like in Fall of the Mutants a "dazzle blast" used for blinding purposes. I don't know why I am obsessing over it a bit, but I can't figure it out. I even checked old handbooks and couldn't really figure it out.
Damn CC for his overly confusing dialogue on power usage.

Let's hope he remembers she's strawberry blonde, and not just blonde.

Looking at his X-Women piece, it would seem he recalls the strawberry. At least moreso than most in the recent past. Someone acknowledged this in his Tumblr Ask:

"I so love how Dazzler is all smiley and STRAWBERRY blond in your amazing Ladies of X piece. You were already a fave but remembering her true hair color makes me love you more! I fear from your teaser pics that you may not get to draw much of her beautiful and glam side in Uncanny but I cannot wait!"

What book and issue is this from? I really enjoyed the writing from the excerpt and I'm curious to find out the context of this story.

Never understand why she even joined the team if Rogue was on it. She should have just walked away like Carol did.

It was a last minute shuffle by creatives that put her on Uncanny. She was set to star in X-Factor but they brought Jean back so they scuttled Dazzler to Uncanny. I think she should have gone Avengers, since she was more a Marvel Universe comic than an XMen spin off.
BUT I liked her and Rogue's relationship.
You can see the start of the Psylocke/Ali friendship really develop starting in 217/218.

I was relieved when Mystique replaced her. Her initial appearance was too fascist in tone for me and I was afraid I was looking at another Bendis/Wanda style treatment.
