Some more stuff.
Be sure to check out the Invisible Woman appreciation thread!
I don't think he is or should be Bi just based on his history.
Also, not sure why he needs to have his sexual orientation switch when currently the LGBT community is the most represented minority group at marvel.

Iceman x Human Torch 4eva
Much of Johnny's history was from a time when anyone in the LGBTQ community was excluded and not part of any mainstream big two books. Marvel Preview 24 featuring the bisexual character Paradox came out in 1980. Alpha Flight 109 came out in 1992. The assumption is that the characters portrayed in all of these years weren't ALL straight.
This is actually the only point pushing me off the Johnny is Bi idea. The Torch and Iceman have been thought of as opposites power-wise. I'd like to see them not be too linked.
In any case, the idea for Johnny is his being bisexual but still mostly attracted to women. A 1 or a 2 on the Kinsey scale.
Remember the “dead wood” thread where we talked about how writers would rather give a story to a popular at the risk of retconning them than build up a newer and probably blank slate hero?
That’s why I hate the idea of “Johnny being bi”.
based on those scans it's not even a stretch
balls in Marvel's court
The J-man
It does feel that way and I would be fine with it if he was. It's just a shame that Spidey does not seem to be bi.

uhh... no. lol.
trying to shoehorn slash-fiction sensibilities to any male character, especially those who have a history of being a joker/prankster, gets silly.
