That's why it is so bizarre. It's like who are these people? Where did they get their understanding of Clark and Diana from? Because the narrative spewed doesn't align with historical content. People can access comics much more easily these days than in the past. It is
very easy to pull up panel after panel to dispel the lies told about SMWW. So the only ones they can gaslight with revisionist histories are those not willing to do their own research.
Gag is, the joke is on them. They played themselves hard because they really thought with the live action movie and the loud mouthed vocal minority, that their own inflated view of the status quo was shared by a larger number of people. So they hamfistedly, without a care or thought dismantled and destroyed SMWW, to the extent of not allowing Superman and Wonder Woman to have
any type of dialogue (I will never get over this because it is one of the most bizarre things I have ever witnessed in a movie). I mean, Diana actually spoke with EVERYONE else on JL
BUT Superman...
That is hilarious to me, because the blatantly obvious act to distance SM/WW while at the same time were pushing the whole Batman thing...::exhales:: was evident. I only thank God for small mercies. Because that level of petty and blatantly ignoring source material to push dynamics that never were and changing what actually was into something so weird and nonsensical. Yikes.
