I've been excited for this since the first pages of Uncanny Avengers #1, to be honest.

It's already amazing, as each of the tie-in issues thusfar have been stellar (on top of the already fantastic Uncanny Avengers book)!

But, yeah, there are so many things I can't wait to see play out here. Plots Remender has seeded himself, as well as decades old plots that he's picked up and run with.

Looks like a very interesting premise, I have been excited since the moment it was announced.

Looks a lot better than the last 4 events that were terribly bad.

Blah, blah, blah... hype, blah, blah... event fatigue. This one seems like it might actually be different, because it's not coming out of nowhere like all the previous events since Disassembled (not WWH or SI, I guess). This has actually been building up in the pages of Uncanny Avengers, plus there is more in Magneto, Captain America and other books. It feels more organic than most of the recent events, and that alone actually has me looking forward to it. That said, I don't follow interviews or previews, so I really don't know much of what to expect, but what little I do know looks good.

Yes, it's going to save me a lot of money on Marvel comics that I might otherwise have bought. Lots more dough to spend on booze and cigarettes, happy days

I think it sounds like fun. I am a little worried about the inversion part, not the ones that are temporary, I'm sure they'll be fun, but the ones that are permanent... I just prefer character development come from within, so it means something. To just have something happen in an instant and bam, different now... enh... I feel that loses a lot of the impact. But that's my only real gripe, and I am willing to wait and see how they do that.

Dear god, NO! Remender, who's proven he both a) doesn't get the minority metaphor, b) doesn't like the minority metaphor... is now writing more X-men (*shudder*). Red Skull is the villain (*yawn*). AND it's derailing Loki: Agent of Asgard (*grrrrrr*).

But, to be fair to Remender, I haven't been excited for an event since Siege (which was also the last time I picked one up an event as single issues). IF I hear great things (and based on Uncanny Avengers, that is highly unlikely to happen) I will get the TPB. Nothing will make me buy the single issues. I've been event fatigued for a long time...

Does anyone else think the logo for the story says "Sixis"? I know they designed the logo in a way so that it reads the same upside down as it does right side up, but the "A" still looks like an "SI" to me.

Anyway, I'm not very excited for Sixis. In my opinion, none of the recent crossovers have been very good. Although, I could simply be too old and jaded for such stories to have the desired effect.

I wish it was an Avengers only event.

Keep my X-men out of it.

It really looks good. I'm excited. I really hope it's better than Original Sin. Man was I disappointed in that.

I'm on the fence right now but will be trying it out. The art work that I've seen looks nice though. And I'm with you Tony Stark in that I hope it's better than Original Sin which started off promisingly enough - at least imo - but faded pretty badly - again just my opinion.

    Wait and see I guess.

Original Sin was really good if you were invested in the central characters.

I'm a big fan of Nick Fury, so it was nice to see him get a big send off (we all knew it was coming the minute Markus showed up). Giving Bucky a new, wider scope to pursue was equally welcome.

The tie-ins were great! Original Sins was solid gold. Every issue, front to back. The Tenth Realm established some much needed foundation for Angela (who had, until OS, been floundering under Bendis' inept shepherding).

I feel I full got my money's worth from the event, but I can understand where others might have been 'meh' on it.

I don't know or particularly care if it will be good or not, I'm excited to read any status quo changes it brings about. Because the MU really needs something to give right now.
