Also eyeing the first Hogarth Tarzan book for ages, should really pull the trigger on one of these. Good to know they are not numbered. I really like the cover design.
The build is okay - nowhere near that of IDW LoAC or FB, but okay. It was only €7.15 on Amazon.de (still is, I think), so it was definitely worth it. I wouldn't pay cover for it though. For that, the quality isn't good enough.

The Tarzan books are immense fun. Cheesy, but fun.

Loved the series but this new hc line is overpriced for my liking.
How is the build and paper quality? Worth the investment?
Seems fine to me. Opens flat. Paper quality is decent. I don't know if it's worth the investment since I've never read this series. But it is an odd size. Sort of bothers me it's an inbetween size.

yeah that's the problem with HP, just about average quality for premium price. But for €7.15 it's worth it, although I' pretty sure the later Charlton and other volumes reworked these stories and I already have 5 of those.

thank you, you are .de specialist shipping was more than the actual book thou

Btw. did anyone noticed (or maybe it's just my taste) that some series with great original covers, when they get to the point of releasing deluxe hc, cover art made for some of those deluxe hcs is definitely not on the level of the originals, Sweet Tooth, Scalped, and maybe Saga are examples if this.
It's annoying to say the least, but again, it might be just me

No, i was definitely disappointed that they didn't go with the Jock covers for scalped. It was nice that Guerra did some original work for the HC's, but they don't have that pop that the originals had going for them.

Of course i’m all for original art for deluxe, but it feels like when they decide to publish those, the series is long finished and artist,
involved in a completely different project doesn’t have the will/time/inspiration to re-do something he finished years ago.
I really love Guéras art in scalped, but would prefer Jock covers too

it's well worth it, but as i have found out, be a bit careful of double dipping, i did have x-o 3 on order only to be told that the entire contents of that book is already in the Armor Hunters deluxe

I've been colelcting the tpb's so I'll probably stick with them. I've bought the fist volume of everyone up till Eternal Warrior or around then. Is there a good resource to show what books have come out and in what order?

    Armor Hunters Deluxe:
Collecting Armor Hunters #1-4, Armor Hunters: Aftermath #1, Armor Hunters: Bloodshot #1-3, Armor Hunters: Harbinger #1-3, Unity #8-11 and X-O Manowar #23-29, with more than 20+ pages of bonus content and rarely seen special features.

    X-O Manowar Deluxe Vol. 3:
Collecting X-O MANOWAR #23–29 and ARMOR HUNTERS #1–4. However the listing also says it features backups, I don't know what backups they would be or if they're in the Armor Hunters Deluxe, but I think I can also skip the X-O 3 Deluxe then.

If you google Valiant Comics on Amazon and organize it by New Arrivals then it'll tell you. Here's the list from what I've gathered as every Oversized book they've released since the publisher re-opened.

    X-O Manowar Vol. 1
    Harbinger Vol. 1
    Bloodshot Vol. 1
    Archer & Armstrong Vol. 1
    Harbinger Wars
[Complete Classic Quantum & Woody Omnibus]
    Shadowman Vol. 1
[X-O Manowar Classic Omnibus Vol. 1] (book is oversized, art isn't)
    Quantum & Woody Vol. 1
    X-O Manowar Vol. 2
Q2: The Return of Quantum & Woody
    Harbinger Vol. 2
    Bloodshot Vol. 2
    Unity Vol. 1
    Divinity
    The Valiant
[Archer & Armstrong The Complete Classic Omnibus]
    Archer & Armstrong Vol. 2
    - There was supposed to be a Bloodshot Classic Omnibus Vol. 1, but it hasn't been released
    Book of Death

    UPCOMING RELEASES
    Rai Vol. 1
    Ivar, Timewalker Vol. 1
    Shadowman Vol. 2
    X-O Manowar Vol. 3

The only "event", if you can call it that, they haven't released in a Deluxe is Dead Drop because it was apparently not received very well.

And if you want to go on the Valiant board for more detailed information into stories and certain titles and stuff here is the link: http://community.comicbookresources....spects/page247
