No, and don't give them any ideas. There have been exactly two good SNL-spinoff movies: The Blues Brothers and Wayne's World.
Skit-wise, yes. Movies, no.

As for "Universe..."?
I think that they were always leaving it up to the viewer. Don't rule it out. Don't confirm it.
I’m a Blues Brothers, Wayne’s World, Coneheads guy. But I also put The Ladies Man in there.
Credit where it's due...
My childhood White Castle is the only thing from Aurora that is actually real in Wayne's World.
Wayne definitely lives in Aurora. When they get to the Alice Cooper concert in Milwaukee, they tell the two nerds that they came from Aurora. And of course, the sketches on SNL always started with an announcement that it was on "Aurora Public Access."
I don't know how many Chicagoland landmarks appear in the film since I'm not from there. I remember the Spindle of junked cars during the Bohemian Rhapsody scene (which has since been demolished.)
A LOT of American comedy films are set in the Chicago area because so many comedy writers came from there, mainly through Second City. Most of John Hughes's movies were set there too.

I thought this was going to be about their various spoofs of superheroes. Somewhere out there, there's an alternate universe where Super @$$kiss Man exists.
Power with Girl is better.
