    No.

Would love to see Hugh Jackman or an Idris Elba. As long as they aren't American.

Henry is too young to play Bond.

I'd say no to Hugh Jackman, he's too famous. I don't want the actor overshadowing the part.

No thank-you. I care most about how good an actor Bond is, and I've yet to see anything by Henry Cavill that makes me think he can deliver a performance beyond what 80% of the other actors around him can.

Daniel Craig became one of my favourite Bond's after just one film; he was perfect in it (and the only Bond to be nominated for a major competitive acting award?). Now he's arguably my favourite, or at-least tied with Connery. I did enjoy Brosnan, but that's because he's Brosnan, he's charismatic and likeable (it wasn't "really" about him being a great Bond).

The one actor that I thought really personify James Bond was Pierce Brosnan. For the next Bond movie, I think they should give the role to Henry Cavill.
Funny thing is, Cavil auditioned for the role of Bond back when they were casting for Casino Royale. Cavil lost out to Craig. Cavil also auditioned for the role of Superman back when they were casting for Superman Returns. Cavil also lost the role to another actor.

This is where things get weird. Cavil eventually did become Superman, and previous actors who didn't land the role of Bond end up getting it later in life. Moore was supposed to replace Connery, but they went with Lazenby. Brosnan was going to be Bond after Moore, but the show Remington Steel was renewed for another season, and Brosnan couldn't do it. So they got Dalton. Cavil becoming Bond in the future would continue the trend.

    It was supposed to be.

Moore first because Fleming loved him but instead went to Sean. Sean was supposed to be Dalton who said he was too young, so that went to Lazenby since Moore was doing the Saint. Then came back to Connery after Lazenby decided not to go on then it was to FYEO it was supposed to be Dalton but he rejected it again. Moore continued until they wanted Dalton again who rejected it then went with Brosnan but NBC is like let's have Remington Steel again, so went back to Dalton then went to Brosnan and then Craig.

I just don't see Cavill doing it.

I can see Elba, David Oyelowo, Fassy, McAvoy, Jackman, Simon Baker, Guy Pearce, Dominic West, and Eric McCormack for some stupid inane reason. But what do I know. When I was drunk with my friends watching Goldeneye, I think I even said Jason Priestley.

Anyway if the producers ever want to go American, Jon Hamm is the only guy

I'd prefer the role of the Bond to be always played by a brit. It's just one of those things I'd like to remain consistent. That's just a personal preference.

Curious, is your name due to being a Vince Carter fan?

Canada was part of the Commonwealth, so I'm fine with that. It has to be GB, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Africa for me.

    And yes.

I, in theory, have no problem with a non-Brit playing Bond, provided he can do a great British accent.
I do however draw the line at bloody Wolverine playing Bond.

    Cary Fukunaga will direct.

Working titles for Bond 25 have been Shatterhand and Eclipse.

Jamacia's kind of cool because it's pretty much where Bond was born-in both cases.

At least some of the novels were written at Fleming's Goldeneye house in Jamaica, and the first book adapted as a film was Dr.No, of course also set in Jamacia and filmed there. Live and Let Die was also filmed there; although it doubled as a fictional island (In the book, -The second Bond novel-it actually is Jamacia, and Bond first meets Quarrel and Strangways in that book, so the novel version of Dr.No is, in a way, a sequel of sorts to the LALD book).

I wonder if we might get "Craigverse" versions of Strangways and Quarrel?

    Favorite Bond:
This is tough because I think each one brings something unique to the role and I like each one, with the exception of Timothy Dalton.
However, I will go with Daniel Craig. I do think George Lazenby is very underrated.

    Favorite Bond film:
    Connery- Goldfinger
Moore- The Spy Who Loved Me
    Brosnan- Tomorrow Never Dies
    Craig- Skyfall

Again, Lazenby only had one and it’s in my top five and I didn’t care for either of the Dalton films.

    Favorite Bond Girl:
    Jane Seymour
    AKA FlashFreak
    Favorite Characters:
DC: The Flash (Jay & Wally), Starman- Jack Knight, Stargirl, & Shazam!.
MARVEL: Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), & Doctor Strange.

    Current Pulls: Not a thing!

I think part of the problem many have with Dalton is that he didn't really have much of the comedic timing or charm of the others, and perhaps played the role way too angry at times, and as Ebert noted, he wasn't particularly good with the comedy. His "Shaken....not stirred" in License to Kill even sounded like a threat!
Also Kara and Lupe were some of the worst Bond girls (although better than Stacy). Both films however I think had pretty great action and soundtracks, though.

While Craig has a similar Fleming-inspired Bond, he seems to play it much more cooly and with better comedic timing and charm/chemistry.

Even though they're presently filming, the script is still undergoing rewrites. Daniel Craig has requested Phoebe Waller Bridge redraft it.

I don't agree with that, at all. Hiring an actor at the perfect age means he's starting to get too old two movies in. Look at Daniel Craig: He was looking too old when Skyfall came out.

Sean Connery was 31 when he became Bond. Cavill is 36. So not too young.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Definitely agree with you on this. Michael Kamen's score to License To Kill is one of my favorite Bond scores.
