    Time rewind.

Qaztoh approaches Blizzar and hands him a large sum of cash." Okay Here's my payment for this month," Qaztoh said.

Meanwhile, Praxat is moping around with her skin color still a dark blue. Attempting to come to terms about the news he heard from her sister Sraxat about her grandmother Araxat."Just exactly who is my grandmother? I know she's my grandmother, but I don't know anything about her," Praxat said.

His utensil was not one fixed design for the body spun separately from the grips. It was designed to reduce fatigue, and his eyes widened in horror as no matter how hard he clutched the handles, it did its function too well, rolling up and over and ding absolutely nothing to stop the path of the Katchin Boot!

With precise timing, Sasheem's counter glided in smoothly - effortlessly and without tack - under the heavy cylindrical surface and Zaofan felt the impact square in the face doubly so for he only continued to fall at this extreme speed.

"--mMMRoOOAAggHHH--!!!" Wind shear and compression from that mighty blow contorted his face. His eyes spun in their sockets as they widened and glazed over. The perfect knockout shot!

But though the boot went through his clumsy attempt to block it, the Martial Chef's grip was steadfast upon his tool. Sasheem's kick slid from his jaw, clipped his temple, till the outstretched Katchin leg flew past his shoulder by the mercy of slick, bloody gob.

Zaofan's arms fell slack, and the Rolling Pin in his hands found a malleable surface on the extended limb past the blunt instrument that had struck him. Reflexively, his constitution stiffened, and the rolling began aggressively!

    "Dough Rolla Da~!"

It started easy at first, more a brief push. Then Zaofan began to sweep and press, back and forth and over again to thin the substance before him to the thickness of a pasta sheet or a wonton wrapper. The teary pools of his eyes lit up and a Warm Glowing, Warming Glow fell from his sight. It swept from the heart of the battlefield, flooding beneath the overhangs and ancient temple structures of the Lookout.

As he worked the 'dough' there was a certain hush, a sensation of a wholesome, inner peace. A hazy spiritual contentment fell wherever the light touched, a healing and satisfaction, like crisp bites in summer and hot mugs in winter. Briefly there was a tranquility that was shared there to match the Forest Shrine of Barlon Bedlam himself.

The Majin was at the epicentre of it, and Zaofan continued to fall. Closer, now, chasing to the end the illuminating comfort of this task. Was this the ascended spirit of a chef, given over unknowingly to a deep, instinctive love for his craft? The gleeful dedication was shouted repeatedly through the loose tongue inside his slack jaw:

    "RORARORARORARORARORARORARORARORARORARORA-!!!"
"ILLKILLRRMRPGHH!" The Majin began, before his kick failed inst the might of the master chef. He could only watch in anger as he was rolled up like a pile of dough. Flattened, and pattered, he was too shocked to even truly retaliate.

    And in the aftermath....

The Majin, peeled himself off of the rolling pin, pathetically. Shaped, flat as a piece of wax paper. "Gotta be kiddin' me.." he muttered, as the wind picked up, and lifted him in the breeze. He folded his now extremely -2 dimensional arms, and didn't even bother trying to stop it, just letting himself drift off for a bit like a runaway kite. "Just Sasheem's luck....can't get away with noth-"

He stopped and sighed, as his flattened body caught onto the pointy antennae ornament, jutting from the lookout, the Majin now waving from it like and banner.

    "Ugh..."

The chaos of the last day awakens to a cool and somber morning as Eva, looking better than last night, and Jinzi watch as an automated silver ship with blue highlights touches down on the Lookout. A pinnace, or shuttle, for the much larger ship in orbit.

The Galaxy Defender Class ship Coldlight, first of its class and fastest, most powerful, ship in the known cosmos. It sits in high Earth orbit, the Galaxy PoliceÂ’s brand new pride and joy, and awaits their accent.

Jinzi nods, hefting a bag over his shoulder and looking at Eva.

“Jack, Anula, and Adam will be here to stay on guard, and the other mission hopefully will get back soon. I hate to leave you so short handed, but......

Eva shakes her head and smiles, face still a bit pale.

“It’s fine. They are where they need to be, and so shall you. Best of luck my friend, and be safe. Meagan will tear the Galaxy a new one if you die.”

Jinzi chuckles, and the two friends share a quick half hug before the genius heads into the smaller transport ship, ready to be taken to its mother ship high above. Eva sends out her silvery butterflies to alert all those going on the mission.

Â’The time has come. The ship is here at the Lookout.Â’
OOC: I might have been mistaken, but I thought there were two ships? All good if though.

IC: After some time, the doors leading from the lower deck of the Lookout opened. Stepping out to the central plaza from the Meditation Chamber therein, the features of Ochazuke's face had uncharacteristically softened. Whatever had transpired in confidence within had worn at him.

The patter of a spatula whorled around the inside of a great glass bowl. Great dollops of chocolate pudding filled rows upon rows of mason jar pints, before Zaofan set them in stacks within the refrigerator. Not his finest work, but assuredly this wouldn't be their last meal.

    Right?

Pulling a bag of ice from the freezer, he held it over the left side of his face with a wince as he turned out to join the others.

One ship sent by the GP (their newest one, courtesy of Jinzi’s great-Uncle). There is currently a shuttle on the Lookout to take you all up to it.

During the night, Dash opened a Portal back to Chroma. After spending a hour talking to Meagan, the decision was made. Using her power as Guardian, she dismisses Dash from her position as Apprentice Guardian, doing so with sincere thanks for all she has done.

Dash was about to give back her key to the Temple Portal when Meagan insisted that she keep it for now.

Changing into her Spider Armor, then gathering up all her belongings, Dash and Meagan hug each other. This wasn't a goodby, just a change of paths.

Entering the Portal, Dash finds herself back on the Lookout. A few hours of rest later, she finds herself standing on the Plaza watching Jinzi entering the shuttle. She would follow soon, when she was ready.

At the sight of the ship, Sasheem's mood brightened a bit. Biting into his flattened thumb he pumped air into himself, a remarkable feat considering his lungs were also rolled into a thin sheet. Within no time, he was whole again and sped forth towards the transport shuttle.

"Make way, jabronis!" he sneered, pushing past any of the others who got there first. "As officially sanctioned team pilot, Sasheem should be first in line to see his new ship!"

The mission hadn't yet begun, and a leaden feeling seizing within Ochazuke. Lowing his head, he closed his eyes. With a slow breath, his heavy lungs took in air and found his centre.

"It must be a delight to have us rely on you," Ochazuke grunted. "P-Sta's knowledge will serve you well."

Folding his arms before his chest, he nodded once. His eyes slowly opened. "However, you're forgetting something."

"...that was a good last meal," As much as he didn't want to toot his own horn when it came to his cooking, especially compared to Zaofan's, but those ribs had hit that craving spot perfectly. Food-wise, he was without regret... as for everything else, eh...

"All right, let's get this **** show over..." Rising to his feet, the boy stretched before heading out to greet the transport ship. Before embarking, however, he took a moment to withdraw his communicator and sent out a quick group message to those on his contact list. Once he was assured it had been sent, Charco suddenly clenched his hand into a fist, destroying the phone in its grip. Releasing his hold on it, he dropped the broken remains and stepped aboard.

The Majin had begun to crack his knuckles, excitedly. It hadn't taken that long for this ship to arrive, but it certainly felt like forever. It was certainly a long whule since the last time he got a chance to show off. Or at least he felt so.

Even Ochazuke had to admit that he would be useful, but of course it couldn't be left alone. Always an addendum with this guy.

"Oh yeah?" the Majin asked turning to face the disciple of the Crane. "And what exactly is Sasheem not remembering, 'o' wise martial-brother'?" He inquired with a simple, yet blatantly mocking bow.

It was time. The battle of their lives was nearly upon them. In only a short time, the fate of all of reality itself and all the denizens living therewith would be decided. Would they live and be happily, blissfully ignorant of the death that the Doctor hoped to thrust upon them to undo a fate that fell outside of his control, or would that fate be thrust upon them as recompense of the alternate Jinzi Pantaloons' lost family?

Sarada and Parsley, eldest daughters of Guar and Lettise and wards of Lady Maiz, would play a part in deciding. If fate was on their side, they would be among the last ones standing.

Sarada spent the previous night with Ishtar, while Parsley spent it finalizing her notes to present to the others on the trip. When they both arrived at the shuttle to take them to the GP vessel, no words were shared. Nothing needed saying; only a single nod between the two of them. Both realized what was at stake and how important focus and instinct were going to be.

    Default Morning of the Mission

During the night Althena had stood by Eva's side. Never leaving her side as she deeply meditated in silence. Later after a few hours of rest, Althena is standing on the Plaza." I'm glad you're feeling better Eva," Althena said.

" I was seriously worried about you," Althena said.

"Does that mean I get to be co-pilot?" Held asked Jinzi with a laugh as he examined the exterior of the ship, nodding in approval, "I mean, I could probably fly circles around you, nevermind our 'Team Pilot' friend."

He frowned as the words formed in his mouth. He turned to Sasheem.

"....Team Pilot? I'm half-surprised you even know how to fly..."

The Majin was fully prepared to rant further until something else quickly gained his ire.

Sasheem leaped up and stood on Held's shoulder' whilst poking the Nevadian's forehead accusingly with his index finger. "Since when has there been a ship that you've touched that hasn't ended up wrecked, horse maneur?!" The Majin accused. "If you've already forgotten, Sasheem's absorbed the knowledge of one of the best pilots in the GP! He's stolen the accolades from the best in the whatever galaxy that dumas came from!"
