The best part of the 2011 Point One is that Brubaker wrote the spine of the story but angrily quit Marvel shortly after before he could actually follow up on it.

So wait.
If Xavier is in a Fantomex body
is Betsy giving the Prof the eye now
Like, "Maybe..."
Is it me or did they just throw all the theories of "Moira going to die and this is not 616" out the window?
The lead story of the 2011 anthology was a weird story about some guys infiltrating the Watcher's home for some reason to get some stuff and it led into the other story previews somehow and then Brubaker dipped from Marvel so it went nowhere, just like his okay Secret Avengers plots. He made sure that his Captain America continued to erode like a corpse into a rotting husk of its former self, though!
I don't blind date I make the direct market vibrate
I remember Brubaker saying in an interview that he just never actually had a solid plan for what the Unseen was, why they'd murder the Watcher, etc.
I mean, I think people were a little silly to make those theories originally.
I remember Alex de Campi telling a story of a comic writer who got asked to do a cameo in a movie based on their work, and once on set realized how much money was going to this adaptation of their work, and how little compensation they actually got from it, and decided to quit work for hire after that.
Seems pretty likely she was talking about Brubaker's cameo in Winter Soldier.
