For me personally the movies are terrible so I wouldn't expect the show to be any better.

So were the Transformer movies and they made money.

While those Tyler movies are bad, they do make a profit. Unlike some other movies.

Probably the reason this show is happening is for MONEY. He saved Oprah's network. He did 4 different tv shows on his lot while everyone else could not film-see that gave BET an edge in new shows to toss out.

SO in terms of business-Showtime is smart to go after him for so far one show since Shameless is leaving. Also Viacom has control of Showtime-so this is probably part of his overall deal with them.

I'm totally a part of the Tyler Perry audience because the man does zaniness in a way that not many others will. His work is also incredibly un-PC without being annoyingly gritty like an FX drama. His dialogue and glacial pacing are definite weaknesses but I can overlook those flaws because who else is gonna write a white president and his black first lady beating the crap out of each other?

I'm sorry I don't understand whatever my credentials are doesn't change my opinion it also doesn't make my opinion any better than your opinion also you don't know who I am so how can you possibly know it's me or not?
