Perhaps begging will stop humans from killing mutant childrens with headshots? Or perhaps a new vaccine that takes away the mutants' powers is the solution?

Not going to lie, i was just thinking that after going over the issue again along with every other Cult based film i have ever seen.

Yeah, I have to say I wasn't really interested in X-Factor but if the series is going to be dealing with these kind of complications with the resurrection protocols then I'm really gonna have to reconsider giving X-Factor a shot.

I can't imagine Storm, Jean, Kurt, etc being ok with the crucible. I would have liked to see that discussion during a Quiet Council meeting, if only to see that they were just overruled or something.

It seems Metal has been enjoying the ride, just questioning what's happening. Not questioning what we're getting, questioning what's happening in the story.

There's a reason why the Phalanx had such a prominent presence in PoX year 1000. And we saw Doug and Warlock do something when Xavier first introduced Doug to Krakoa in that flash back.

Lets talk about Human/Mutant relations in the last 20 yrs of stories.

Humans hating mutants. That's it. Nothing new or exciting was done with that.

New X-men could have changed things but X-editorial chickened out and put everything back to status quo.

I don't think the X-fan base can make that distinction anymore just like Beast can do no right in their eyes.

Yup, we got our second drip in what appears to be a very long game Hickman is playing with the Phalanx. That whole scene was suspect as hell, and what's worse is that no-one in-universe outside of Moira would think twice about it. I also want to bring up a feeling I've been having about Krakoa itself. Kurt's dialogue here about the building makes me reconsider the possibility that Krakoa is still predatory, and all its done is adopt a honeypot scheme. But if that were true then Doug would let everyone know, right?
