War Of The Realms Event!

The final act kicks off with WAR OF THE REALMS #5, which sees our heroes making an attempt to retake the Earth from Malekith and his forces thanks to the gains they’ve made in #3 and #4, plus with some assistance from new and surprising allies. But as you can see from this insanely awesome cover by Arthur Adams and Matthew Wilson showing the Black Panther leading a squad against the undead army of the Enchantress, the heroes definitely still have their work cut out for them! Issue #5 sets the stage for the final battle in #6, which will change the world of Thor and of the entire Marvel Universe forever!

That IS Angela. It's not representative of what actually happens in the story though. Peter and Miles are in separate places and Gwen will likely be a total no-show on account of not being 616 native, and thus being unaware that this is happening.

Anyone can explain to me why the enchantress barely appears on any cover, they already forgot her existence?

It's weird and depressing.

covers are one thing. she hasn't had much of a presence in the actual Thor books, really. they are loki and Syndor (sp?) heavy.

That is Aaron's fault that at no time has he bothered to do anything with her except what has been seen so far that is tremendously disappointing and absurd and out of character compared to other previous appearances, Aaron directly ignore everything regarding her.

Yes it's appeared in black panther vol 3, vol 4, Totally awesome hulk, and Rise of the black panther. It has yet to get some actual big feats but this would be as good time as any

When do you think will we see some previews for the tie-ins? The events starts in 3 weeks, the first tie-ins are starting in 4 weeks.

For a event of this size the marketing seems a little low and not firing on all fronts.

The Thursday or Friday before they're released, like most Marvel previews.

After God Butcher I switched off with Aaron’s run abit.
Can someone sort of explain the basics of this war? I understand Malekith is behind it, but has he got reasons?
Is there anything more to it than just a war?
