I'm also a bit of a fan of the Heroic Publishing Universe, which was the base for the Hero RPG and Champions Online.

I was fond of the Ultraverse. Prototype, The Strangers, Nightman, Mantra, Wraith, Solitaire, The Solution.
Also while not exactly a superhero universe I liked the Crossgen Universe. Sigil, The First, Ruse, Route 666.
Kirbyverse!

Wow! Thanks for reminding me! this was actually a terrific series, by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross based on several defunct Kirby creations.
I remember getting all the issue of the run, except I somehow frustratingly missed the last one, don't know if there was delays, my shop sold out, or didn't even order it.
Then several spin-offs and the trade came out, I debated- do I buy it all again as a trade, just to get the final issue?
No, I still have no idea how it wrapped up,
Might need to track that down!

I'm also old enough to have bought the Topps comics versions of Night Glider, Bombast and Captain Glory back in the 90s.

While it was nowhere near as fleshed out as the "Classic Coke..." Wildstorm universe, the recent Ellis reworking of it(The Wild Storm) is worth a mention. To me, it's a little bit superior to the old universe. That said, it's a bit more "Science Fiction..." than "Superhero..."
The Belgians and the French do a lot of things better than anyone else when it comes to comic books. Superheroes is not one of those things. Still, I am nostalgic for those things which did get translated into German in the 80s:
I'll be sure to check out Kirbyverse. I also enjoyed Kirby's Silver Star and even Captain Victory.
Image- I like Savage Dragon and the 90s stuff.

Just finished rereading Echo and the links with SiP (which also needs rereading make the Mooreverse a fun place for me.
The real answer for me is Tommy Westphal's snowglobe though. Kids should google that.
