Yes, let's get rid of the black guy so one of the four white women on the team can shine. If Emma and Jean can serve on the same team (or Rogue and Colossus, in the outback days), so can Rogue and Synch. How their power usage differentiates is up to the creativity of the writer and artist.

I wonder if this means in addition to her Ms Marvel powers, she got added shapeshifting, force-fields, invisibility and pyrokinesis. Basically a mini super skrull set.

lol it's ok. I was having a hard time reading the panel too, saw Rogue and Mystique than all of sudden Rogue absorbing Skymax. It's a two page spread so it has weird paneling there.

Ah, thank you! I saw the preview and thought it was a bit of a disjointed mess. I just wasn't paying enough attention though lol. It is so awesome having interesting Rogue content to look forward to again with this and her on X-Men.

Wonder Man didn't have flight until Busieks run on Avengers (late 90's.). By then Carol was back as Warbird in the title. Wonder Man used to have a rocket belt that allways seemed to break during fights

Still there are many ways she could get flight.

Good point on Wonder Man but it seems like Gambit's already joined the X-Men by this time too given the preview. I don't know, it's AU so who knows what the continuity is with this story.

Either way, it's good to see Rogue put the hurting on at least one of the Squadron already given that it seems like a massacre otherwise.

Magneto and Xavier especially getting clowned hardcore there. Why is Charles in the middle of the battle and did Magneto forget he can make electro-magnetic force fields? Sigh PIS for drama is not good.

I read something from when Wonder Man "first" began to fly which was interesting. It said Simon could always fly and that is how he flew from the beginning: his belt jets were actually powered by his own ionic energy! He just did not know that he did not need the belt.

Plus in Operation Lightning Storm he was flying. Same for Force Works.
