With a lot going on in my life, I'm not sure if I'll reach 1,000 this year or not, especially since I really take time off from reading comics in the summer, but I will try. So far, iirc, I have read the following (not in order, though):
*three Teen Titans silver age issues
*Silver Surfer (Stan Lee and Buscema) #1-6 (all of the volume 1 MMW of Silver Surfer, so that includes a Lee and Kirby issue and an origins parody, which: LOVE)
*Swamp Thing, first appearance in The House of Secrets, and Swamp Thing #1 and #2
*And about 6 stories from the Richard Corben Creepy book

How are the stories in the Corben Creepy Presents? Really like his art

I bought that book knowing not much at all about Creepy.
The stories are good, but super short. But that art is GREAT.

There's only been one story that I've read so far that I'm unsure on whether or not I really liked it, and it was about a psychiatrist who was to be "cured" by an ex-patient.
Granted, I have not made it far into the book at all yet, so we'll see what I think of it by the time I am done.

So wait, is each manga chapter counted as 1 or should I wait to count it until the volumes are released to count it? Some manga I read weekly when they are released...

24 pages are 1 issue. I don't know how many pages 1 manga chapter has but just divide those number of pages through 24 and you got the amount of issues

They are roughly the same, usually somewhere around 18-21 pages it seems. Sometimes less, sometimes more. I'll just count 1 chapter as 1 issue, even if its a longer chapter.

Some more comics to add to my list:
    House of M #1-8
Ultimate Fantastic Four: The Fantastic #1-6
    Total: 48
I've just started reading Ultimate Fantastic 4, and I've really enjoyed it so far. I definitely prefer this version to the mainstream FF.
