Wasn't there a big promo page where all Swordbearers were randomly fighting each other. With Kible fighting the White Sword of Okkara while a figure in the same outfit and also their face hidden was fighting another Arrakoan champion?

Found it. It was the Pepe Larraz cover.

The person who's costume fits the one with the hidden face (blue and white suit, yellow boots and pouches) on the Stasis cover is fighting what seems to be Bei the Blood Moon in the upper right part of the image. While Kid Cable is fighting The White Sword right in the middle of the image.

Likely not reflecting the story but interesting to note who is on it.
1. Isca vs Brian Braddock, 2. Gorgon vs. Redroot, 3. Magik vs. Summoner, 4. War vs. Betsy Braddock, 5. White Sword vs. Kible, 6. Storm vs. Annihilation, 7. Wolverine vs. Pogg, 8. Solem attacking Storm (because of Gorgon wielding two swords?), 9. Apocalypse vs. War, 10. Unknown guy vs. Bei.

Interesting enough he seems to wield no sword at all. Having his arms folded over his chest by the looks of it.

Good guess would be it's someone the Hellions are send into Otherworld to recruit this issue.

We saw on another cover Death and Storm, I assume they will fight each other.

I think I figured out who the 10th might be. It might not be Magneto, it could be someone no-one is expecting: Agent Brand. Since she leads SWORD and the Peak is one of the swords. If it turns out to be her, don't forget who called it 1st!

This first half of the event has a lot of fillers, quite honestly. We did not need two issues of Wolverine getting his sword and Cable's issue today was a lot of nothing happening. This is going to be a "???" on a trade.

I wouldn't call the CABLE issue filler at all it's just classic foreshadowing. Saturnyne send them to that space station specifically so they could come in contact with whatever those creatures were. It's the chekhov's gun that probably won't come into play until act 3 of this event.

Agreed. These should have been branded as the Prelude to XoS. Marvel has had pre-crossover banners in the past for less connected crossovers before a big event like Legion Quest and the Shattering. This feels like those

Hellions felt like filler, but New Mutants and Cable were good. Magik is just delightful and Cypher’s dilemma was compelling. That line at the end of Cable about Nate not knowing Doug was a swordsman, that was good. Fed right in to part 7. That being said, can’t someone bring the sword-bearers chairs or something.

This week felt like the whole story of the event just expanded in a huge way. Assuming the Peak story is continuing we are getting set up for way more than just a sword showdown. I assume x-men 13 will continue that story, with Scott and Jean doing something with the enemies they found there.

Hellions also adds a new plot line to the crossover...though time will tell if it is irrelevant sidestory or something woven into the story. It will be nice to get some clarification on the rules from Saturnyne. How big is each kingdom of otherworld anyway?

In Hellions did they say Apocalypse was mortally wounded? As in dead? Before they said he was on a quest for his sword.

Just read the X of Swords official Handbook. Loves it. Specially the part where they describe each Krakoan location.

Curious to know if the ten characters they chose to highlight will have major role in the near future:
Wolverine, Magik, Betsy, Brian, Moira, Gorgon, Cypher, Meggan, Broo and Apocalypse.
