Since it's used to relieve pain, it kind of makes me wonder if Laura somehow hurts her neck or shoulders early in the book... Or maybe her healing factor for some reason isn't working as well...?

Or maybe the same reason she was using Kevlar during All-New Wolverine? Just because she can heal doesn't mean that it wouldn't be nice to have earlier relief.

Laura does use her arms and shoulders a lot because of her claws. I can see not even her healing factor being able to make that better all the time.

Great cover! I like the new uniform, but I'm going to miss her wearing the yellow spandex she first donned in All-New Wolverine #1. I know with Logan back, it would be somewhat out of place. But she really made that look work. Laura has made every look work and I hope she does the same here.

This is a really nice cover.

I really like the redesign. I really like how the x is incorporated into her outfit and I like the colors.
I would be glad if they keep the jacket.
There are a few nitpicks like the gloves and the length of the trousers, but I can live with that.

It's more of making it have to do less work. Rember there are limits to how fast a healing factor can work, they were able to overload logans when the demons possessed him. Her thought process was probally why wast my healing factor on this when the tape can do it. It's not clone degradation or somting its her trying to better augment her powers.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Use that to help with the mundane stuff, just like she wore the armored jacket to not have to worry about annoying minor injuries.
