WestPhillyPunisher for Kelley Jones cooky 90s xtreme Batman with insane ears and pose.
And thanks Shalla Bal for the curiously illuminating theme.

Special mention to The Whovian for my classic Gen X/Bachalo before his art got really weird fix.

Lot of great submissions, as usual. But I have to go with WestPhillyPunisher because I was going to use that cover. It was the first thing I thought of. And Jones always draw a spooky way, which adds to the candle theme.

MRP 'cuz Mike Kaluta is awesome and that Spectre/Xanadu chemistry was kind of neat itself.

I remembered to vote this week! Joining the Kai the Spy train, because that was the first one I thought of.
You can find a bunch of books I wrote stories for here. The weekly column is here.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Damn, choosing was hard. I've finally settled on WestPhillyPunisher, as I got into comics in the mid-90s, and Kelley Jones' Batman rocked my world. Runner-up was Kirby101's Berni Wrightson entry.
