Black Panther Appreciation 2020

In the Black Panther annuel, when she died of terminal cancer T'Challa did attempt to save her life by giving her the heart shaped herb. Easy way to power her up is show that the herb later does work in bringing her back with BP powers. She just needs to train since she has the powers but not the skill.

That's.. actually not a bad idea. Though I would say because she died the powers manifest differently then what usually happens with the HSH. Maybe she becomes attuned to nature, and can communicate with the earth.. something like a shaman or something, she uses her voice to inspire the earth to help her or something similar, it's gotta be based on her voice because I feel that's a powerful aspects of her. Basically she would be something of a mix between tetu and zenzis powers

The new dude wouldn't take ****. He'd get his ass beat at first, but he'd keep getting up again and again. Typical "arrogant american gets humbled, nbut doesn't give up" type ****.

T'challa needs an heir and one that is old enough to actually do stuff (minimum 16 years old). And we need some Batman/Talia/Damian like retconing/craziness to make it happen.

(The best way would have been via this wormhole time warp thing. T'challa gives up coming back in a sense, no memory of Storm, hooks up with NuNakia, has a kid, time warpery when he comes back... brings kid back with him. Some Captain American Dimension Z type ****. Been 15 years where he was at, really only 1 year in "real" time. But alas....)

In fact whose to say he isn't already running around at a certain school in New York. His roommate is some kid named Miles Morales.
Judge? Whose last name we don't know. We know he got a granny.

Or if all fails pull a Star Trek Voyager. Harry Kim and Naomi Wildman die in the alpha universe and get replaced by clones-that no one brings up again.

Or Star Trek Nemesis. I am sure Doom has some DNA to clone Panther. What is the worst that can happen? He's in the mines and gets free and builds up an army to fight Wakanda with Killmonger by his side?

Or a Skrull Storm got a hold of him and he's someone in the Emypre event.

Or just adopt Virbraxxus or move that cousin from Ms Marvel into the main castle.

Yeah, we need something major to break up this stagnant rut for BP. He had an encounter with Zanda long ago and she ends up pregnant and having his kids ( twins). She raises them to hate him but never tells anyone he is their father.

Yea, it's all jokes I'm actually a big fan of Peter and Tony. My thing is if Marvel can find a way for characters with all types of personal shortcomings to get 3+ love interests then it's not wrong to expect their headlining black male hero to get similar treatment.

I mean we're meant to take Spider-Man as this struggling, socially awkward 20-something but he's regularly shown having flings and sexual tension with everything from models to cat burglars. Romance plays into the power fantasy aspect of the comic medium and to not have that element in any degree of regularity limits a character's potential.

It's not healthy for the long term development of the BP IP if his main love interest can be taken by editorial at the drop of a hat. That's why common sense updates/retcons to Monica, Nakia, and Zanda are necessary. 100% control means worthwhile development over an extended period of time, which equals a more compelling T'Challa, which hopefully leads to better sales.
