Default Hickman now at DC as well?

EDIT: Meant to put a question mark in the title.

This is potentially great news, but not as surprising as the Bendis announcement, tbf Hickman has been teasing a DC project for almost a couple years now.

I hope it's Justice League or Flash related!

Soo, if this happens... is this is leaving Jason Aaron as the sole remaining big name over at Marvel?

No you are forgetting Waid (banned from DC), Spencer and Slott. Hopefully Bemis and Cates can ascend to Bendis's position eventually.

    Waid I give you.
Slott appears to be someone a lot of spider-fans want to get rid of.
    Dunno who Spencer is...

Would love to see him on Legion of Super-Heroes.

Please gods let this be true.

I'll take Hickman on just about anything. I mean, I'd love to see him given Superman or Legion, but.....its Hickman, he'd be great on almost any property.

Now......if DC can just nab Al Ewing.......

I HEARD ABOUT HICKMAN PREVIOUSLY.. And I see the opposite reaction to Bendis... This is REALLY GOOD.

If the fans can trust in him, I can trust in him too..

Definitely better news than the Bendis announcement.

Now let's hope they give him Legion of Super-Heroes or something else cosmic in scope.

Hickman on Legion of Super-Heroes would be perfect.

I would say Justice League but it would be a shame if Priest's run is cut short because of it.

Hickman at DC would be big news. As big as Bendis, really.

Spencer's more of a controversial name then a "big" name in my opinion, although I guess the two can walk hand and hand.

But his comics, even the more critically-acclaimed ones, don't really sell all that well. So I wouldn't put him on par with Bendis or Aaron.

Slott is a big name on Spider-Man, but it doesn't seem to effect his other books that much (Silver Surfer).

I'm thinking you give Hickman the keys to Kirby's Fourth World and enjoy the ride.

God no. LOSH needs someone who can juggle large casts. Hickman only really focused on Cap and Iron Man on his Avengers run. The whole run was mostly just plot and no character or substance.
I think Superman would fit a lot better and he could write an arc guest starring the Legion there.

I just don't think there is a much of an audience for Silver Surfer especially since the current book is him writing a pastiche of Moffat's Doctor Who. But he is a massive draw: look at his Superior Spider-Man. If they (him and Marvel) put more effort into it and made it into a tentpole cosmic book, it probably would do much better instead of what it does now.
