I too am not interested in those people. I think a lot of people are loosing interest in them too. I would say this was easily the most progressive e3 ever although the standard is very low. I was excited to see the next wolfenstein game stars not one but two women and the next gears of war has a Latino women lead! Very intriguing

I think so, too. For every homophobic/biphobic/transphobic comment I see, there's usually another comment pointing that out and defending the community.

I had heard that about Wolfenstein, as well. Never played the game, but it's still great to know. Ditto for Gears of War.

Technically that already happened. Midnighter ran for 12 issues and then was relaunched as Midnighter and Apollo for 6 issues. I was hoping we'd see Midnighter's presence in the Bat Family or show up in Suicide Squad, but alas DC choice to limbo him.

Apparently, one of the characters in the new Jurassic World movie was supposed to be a lesbian. She was going to confirm it in the following dialogue to Chris Pratt's character: "Yeah. Square jaw. Good bone structure. Tall. Muscles. I don’t date men, but if I did, it would be you. It would gross me out, but I would do it.’” The dialogue was cut, and rightfully so, but there could have been much better ways to confirm the character was a lesbian. She could have referenced an ex-girlfriend, for starters. While that would also imply that she was bi, the public typically doesn't acknowledge bisexuals, anyway (even the community has a hard time with that ) so it would still get the point across. Oh, well.

In other LGBTQ+ happenings, Lena Waithe and Keiynan Lonsdale both won cool awards at the MTV. Lena won the "Trailblazer Award" and dedicated it to Pepper LaBeija, Dorian Corey, Angie Xtravaganza, Willi Ninja, and everyone else who appeared in Paris Is Burning; Lonsdale won "Best Kiss" for Love, Simon, which I have yet to watch. Ditto for Call Me By Your Name, as well.
