But, yeah, sure, we have to continue to humor people like this.
Yes, it is truly frightening that the vast majority of the idiots who believe this with every fiber of their being are also the ones who tend to own several firearms.

So what is it with the right's hatred of unions? What's wrong about an organization that fights so employees can receive higher pay, better benefits and representation?

Like in 2016, the vast majority of fraudulent votes are coming from registered Rs and/or for Rs.

That's because they believe in Power, not Democracy.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

That certainly describes the "Stop the Steal" folks. Donald Trump was complaining about election fraud even while the votes were still being counted. This shows that "fraud" was just another way of saying "outcome we don't like". However, if you claim it's "fraud", then Congress can overturn the election results, because a claim of fraud is sufficient for them to do that, right? It's just as good as actual fraud, when your only motive is to stay in power no matter what.

They think we should all be rugged individualists, each fighting for higher pay, better benefits and representation individually, instead of together as a union.

I've mentioned this previously, but Trump was bitching in 2016 about how that election could be stolen from him before the votes were counted. Given his inability to accept defeat, he was looking for an excuse to avoid admitting, even to himself that he had lost fair and square....only he hadn't. However, if Trump had lost to Hillary Clinton, there wouldn't have been any stampede at the Capitol Building in early January 2017, no mouth foaming hordes of knuckledraggers yelling "Stop the steal!" because he wouldn't have had that insane cult following that propped him up like he was the Golden Calf.

Manchin already killed BBB. The Democrats already signaled they are punting it to next year. Which effectively means it’s done.

It isn't the Unionism it is the lockstep ideology that goes with it.

If Trump had the balls to be interviewed by someone critical, it'd be fun to challenge him on his claim. It's understandable that he doesn't want to make a premature announcement, but to reassure his supporters that there's a major report coming soon, he should be challenged to write down what's in the report and who is responsible for it, seal the paper and hand it to someone who could be trusted to hold on to it for a few months (October 2022 seems like a fair time to release it.) It would have to be someone trusted by Trump folks not to leak the news early and by Trump critics to not to change the report to help Trump later. Someone like Joe Rogan may fit the bill.
The presumption here is that Trump was ever going to or could be a technocratic politician versed in the minutia and complications of policy and structure. He wasn't elected to be versed in the details of legislation or economics but to make the executive decisions. That's why there were all these comparisons to Andrew Jackson when he was elected and who I can't imagine having the foolishness to be tripped up by a reporter and made to look foolish about something he considers inconsequential.
