In X-Men # 600 we know they were not together, but after that we have a jump to the void, Nation X with Scott finding a Phoenix Egg, Secret Wars, Cyclops resuscitated with everyone and after that Death of X. There are too many holes .

The funny thing is that since Uncanny X-Men # 600 the timeline of Scott is such a disaster that we do not even know if Scott and Emma were in a relationship in Death of X or not.

Nothing say they were together. If they were, it would be mentioned on the issues

In DoX, they were being written like they were together and that ambiguity never really got resolved.

Scott didn't even have a team after Bendis run it was just him and Alex. Everyone even Emma joined the JGS so a lot happened during the time skip

That was fun. lol I don't follow Sinister closely. But looking at his sexuality, which I didn't think he had, he does come off more fun & trolly. I may have to look into him more. While still skipping the Marauder years. lol
