Still, the delays this early can kill momentum for some and cause people to lose interest. That's not a good way to start a series, and the Young Animal line also has that big delay with Doom Patrol.

In the old days, they'd have more issues already completed before publishing the first one, so if hiccups did occur with the writing or art, they may have time to deal with it better.

Picked up the first two issues on the recommendation of the Batwoman thread, and they're good! Bummed to come here and find out about delays, but I suppose that just means there wasn't as much for me to catch up on to get up to date.

Having three art teams is going to help with the scheduling, I hope (I know that the second artist, Shawn Crystal, has already started work on issue #6). And I expect #3 to be worth the wait.
