these old ladies as villains are interesting. I guess need to understand how they are going to be a threat to the mutants who dont give a damn. Cause i see them lasting for a long time

"He's pure power and doesn't even know it. He's the best of us."-Matt Murdock
"I need a reason to take the mask off."-Peter Parker
"My heart half-breaks at how easy it is to lie to him. It breaks all the way when he believes me without question." Felicia Hardy
I think part of their appeal is how they dumbfounded the mutants by easily circumventing their portal. As "radical botanists", it seemed easy for them and now poor Krakoa is shrinking and causing everyone headaches.
P.S. Selene and Emplate in charge of keeping the psychic depletion of the island residents in check? That won't end well. LOL!
I love how mutant-y this all is. They live on an island that feeds off of them and in exchange they protect the island. Environmental co-living at its best.

"Danielle... I intend to do something rash and violent." - Betsy Braddock
Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
It feels like Hickman is doing more his FF start where he did a bunch of weird **** before things kicked off.
Wish the art was better. Good lord. Btfo'd by the other 2 books.
"Cable was right!"
Guessing the same people not enjoying these x-men issues didn’t enjoy Hickman’s avengers run, because this really is reminding me of how he did those early issues.
I only continue to read X-books because I don't spend any money on it.
