I'm not terribly enamoured with the character either. My issue with the character is the entire "has to act like a loser because of his guilt-inspired responsibilities" aspect to him. I just don't relate well to emo.

I would recommend it. Well, the end of it. The rest of the movie's a'ight, but the bit at the end featuring Giamatti's character debuting as the Rhino is the best part of the entire movie. I would go so far as to say it was the most Spidey scene in any Spidey movie yet.
