Nightcrawler, he's one of the few non-assholes in the X-Men and actually wants everybody to get along. He's also not partaking of the "holier than thou" attitude like most of them do (coughstormcoughIactuallyhaveacoldatthemomentsothi sisallowedcough). He's the only one who manages to get respect from almost all of them. He would have ended the schism much sooner if he was in charge instead of the dunderheads who were.

If they finally write her in character Storm would be perfect to lead the x-men. Honestly there are many characters except for Logan who should have never lead anything ever. Magneto definitely should lead but not the X-men.
