Anyone read Doctor Strange #6 yet? They are finally addressing what happened with Casey Kinmont. I emailed Marvel like a year or two years ago, asking them to tackle this case. So good to finally see it done.
I have. I'm not surprised Waid was the one to follow up on her story; he wrote the original mini 8 years ago.
Yeah, this was a very cool issue. This continues to be a damn good Strange run. I was glad to have it quickly confirmed that the Strange we've been following the past few issues is in fact the real deal - I would've hated for the awesome upgrade to his powers and his sweet new duds to be wasted on a doppelganger! And the reveal on who the impostor was the kind of ace continuity pull that one would expect from Waid (especially given that he himself wrote the original mini - gotta see if I still have those issues lying around!).
I was a little nervous with all the little downturns we've had in last few years of Strange writers, that this writer would go down the same path. Very happy to be wrong, and very happy for it to be someone I've wanted to be revisited, instead of dual Stranges. Glad Strange kept the upgrades and finally got his cloak back for good I hope. I even enjoyed the humorous way the writer addresses this repetitive idea of Stephen needing to learn humility. Lastly, for the first time in a very long time, I can't wait for the next issue.
When it was announced Waid would doing this book and it was set in space after Cates short run, I already had called it a bust but Waid had a good solo track record so I still preordered it and picked it up and was impressed and I kept going to now and man, this book is redeemed itself tenfold, I'm not shocked Waid would pick up on the miniseries loose thread but not this soon but so far, it's done well and so glad the Space Strange was the real one meaning his new powerskill will be the norm for awhile.
Wonder where this goes. Also, Pina is a good fill in.
uh.. with this... revelation... is the impostor the person who was in the Avengers recently?
I’m doing a re-read from Strange’s Strange Tales Vol 2 through the Sorcer Supreme run. Any other fans of this run?

Hmmm sounds like I need to give this series another chance. I wasn't thrilled with the whole space thing the first two issues, but typically I enjoy Waid's work.
