What New Identity Should Tim Drake Take?

My terrible fanfic idea was to take a character from the Timmverse and make Tim a different legacy: the Gray Ghost. I picture tying the in-universe show to his relationship to his late father, and making the identity a way to remember what he has lost as he moves forward into adulthood. Keep Bruce's love for the show as a boy and you could use it to connect him to both his father and his father-figure. Plus the hat and the goggles give him a silhouette that stands out among the Bat-fam.

Just no more birds.

I agree with the premise, and that's why I came up with the name "Gaslight".

Gray Ghost comes from a confederate hero, and is designed like one, so I don't think it's a great idea to keep the name.

With Redwing, it’s too similar to both Nightwing and Batwing.

With Redbird, it’s only similar to Bluebird.

So I’d go with Redbird as his new identity. It even matches his old car.

I always thought it was a missed opportunity to call Tim Redbird while Cass was called Black Bat. By the same token, considering how close they are, it was just as big of a missed opportunity not to call Damien Flamebird to Dick's Nightwing.
